What can I say , honestly Rachel and her team are angels to animals in disguise. Rachel came and took my elderly dog ( who was 14 ) out up until she passed away and she helped me with willow so much ! Willow was very slow due to her age and Rachael was so patient , calm, caring, compassionate and kind towards her - she genuinely loves animals from the bottom of her heart it shows ! Without a shadow of a doubt I would recommend Rachel and her team , they are brilliant with owners and they genuinely care and are passionate about dogs , I would not have trusted willow with anyone else !

Both Rachael & Sam have walked my bouncy rottie a few times and he loves going out with them. They are highly reliable & go above and beyond.
Recently had a 1:1 training session with Crystal to help us with some behavioural changes & reactivity, and she was amazing. Really knowledgable & makes you feel at ease, as in the past with other trainers I have come away feeling really deflated & bad about myself and my dog.

Myself and my puppy Mabel thoroughly enjoyed our training with Barker Street. Very well lead and the team were highly knowledgeable and professional from start to finish - was also lots of fun too! Would highly recommend Rachael. She is extremely reliable and professional. My dog Junior absolutely loves her. He is a very strong dog and literally wants to play with every dog,cat,bird,squirrel etc he sees and is extremely inquisitive . Rachael is so good with him because I know he is not the easiest of dogs to walk but she doesn’t seem to have any problems. I feel much happier leaving for work knowing he is in such good hands. Rachel, and Crystal are absolutely fantastic, spent a few hours with them with my dog smudge, I came away with so much knowledge and understanding and confidence on how to train my dog on a loose lead and recall.

I would 100% recommend Barker Street Pet Services! We attended the 4 week adolescence classes with our 6 month old Labrador and we learnt so much in these 4 weeks. We previously attended puppy classes with another company however if we were to get another puppy we would be coming back to Barker Street for their classes!!
Rachael and Vikki are absolutely amazing, they built relationships with all the dogs in the classes. It was lovely to see anxious and nervous dogs come out of their shell and interact with other dogs with the support of both Rachael and Vikki.
We also had a 1:1 behaviour session with Vikki where she came to our home and support us with concerns we had with our puppy. She didn’t judge at all and gave us so much advice to help us through some tricky stages of adolescence. She is so knowledgeable and we have learnt so much!!

I would highly recommend Barker Street PS to any new puppy ( and their hooman). Rachel, Vicky and Crystal all gave wonderful advice and really looked after Scout who started classes as a very nervous pup but by the end of the class was growing in confidence ( I think the chicken helped! 😀).

Rachel is really friendly, helpful and really loves all the dogs she walks, sharing photos of their walks. She tries to pair up the dogs for walks which helps them to socialise. Rachel is reliable, trustworthy and I would thoroughly recommend her to anyone looking for a professional dog walker. We have also bought the foot balm from her shop, which I would also recommend to keep your best friends paws soft.

I couldn't ask for a better dogwalker in Rachael. She loves my boys like they are her own and I know that in her care they are happy and safe. When we moved over to Gomersal we noticed that our boys had a negative impact in not having a dog walker. They became shy, snappy and not themselves. With Rachael that has completely changed, they are happy, socialised and well behaved. On top of this she always greets my cat and rabbit too. Thank you Rachael!

Rachael has been looking after Giny for over a year. I will admit to being apprehensive when our work circumstances changed and we needed a walker to help. Rachael came to meet us and I instantly knew we wanted her to help. Giny is a lovely girl but is very boisterous and strong. Rachael was so unfazed when we mentioned this & we all liked her from the outset. I love seeing pictures every time they go out, how happy Giny looks with her friends. I have been lucky the past few months to see Giny's excitement when Rachael arrives and when she brings her home (although I'm sure she doesn't want Aunty Rach to leave!). Rachael is brilliant with animals, it's her absolute passion & her sunny, happy, positive personality is fantastic! Brightens my day as well as Giny's! Fantastic service from start to finish! We were looking for help & advice for our very anxious dog & approached Barker Street to see if it was something they could help with. Rachael assured us that they could & put us in touch with Vikki their behaviourist. We initially had a telephone consultation where we were given lots of tips & advice which we were able to put into practice. This was followed by a meet up which was really helpful! Have just completed the 4 week puppy class, and what a difference. We have learnt how our puppy Jasper learns and understands us and how to manage his behaviour. Jasper has loved the sessions and has enjoyed the socialisation. He has been shattered after every session. We had a fantastic experience with Rachael and Vicky at Barker Street Pet Service's adolescent puppy classes. Both were incredibly enthusiastic and explained training techniques and puppy behaviours brilliantly. We learnt so much and really enjoyed the sessions. Our puppy especially loved socialising with the other dogs. Highly recommend these classes for any puppy owner looking to give their furry friend the best start!

The Barker Street Team are incredible, Rachael and her team are always a quick message away and readily available with any questions and concerns we have and overall passionate and professional. Recently we were able to have some one to one training with our seven month old labradoodle as we were feeling a little overwhelmed with some of her behaviours and were looking for some advice and tips.
Crystal is an absolute angel and has gone above and beyond with helping us understand our puppy’s needs and behaviours so much better. Crystal’s knowledge and reassurance that these are “normal” behaviours for an adolescent dog has given us some much needed relief and we cannot recommend and thank her enough!

Rachael is so much more than just our dog walker. She has been with us since we got our rescue dog 2 1/2 years ago. She has brought him on so far. She takes him on walks with other dogs and he's always so happy to see her. If we need to change dates or times nothing is too much trouble. Rachael truly loves animals. I would recommend Rachael 100%.
